I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (New York, NY) in Jul 2022
Interview
A recruiter accidently sent me a link for a test which is higher level than my experience. Once you take a test for higher level, you can't go down. So, recruiter suggested to add my academic and personal projects as professional experience. I expected Entry-Level interview but I was setting up by him or her for Software Engineering llll. Unlucky, I was not enough to impress them. If I took an interview for right level for me, should I get an offer ? I'm not sure. Honestly, I was exciting about getting more salary like I already get a job offer by them when I prepared higher level interview. How can I blame someone else. :) It was my second time to take a final round @Amazon. I wasnt enough this time may no more next time.
Interview was conducted well. Questions were fair, just wasn't prepared well enough. Brush up on your data structures and basic algorithms. The programming language used doesn't matter. Prepare past experiences stories beforehand so you are ready when asked about an experience.
