I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AlphaSense (London, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
The talent acquisition people were nice, but the communication was lacking. I was expecting 5 interviews, but then after my first call, I was given a case study where you have to find 10 prospects from an enterprise company. They wanted you to tell them why they would be fit for the product and at the end of choosing one and write an email. If you've never prospected on an enterprise level you will most likely fail here and I put CFOs, VPs type of titles and it was still not good enough for them. Very weird experience. If you are successful in that they will move you forward with 4 more phone call interviews. Very bad recruiting process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSense (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
Very smooth interview process. I was contacted and progressed quickly through each stage whilst being given ample time to prepare. Very kind staff and seems like they genuinely want to help.
Expect questions like “Why sales?” and “Why AlphaSense?”, along with a high-level discussion of your experience and communication skills. Overall, it wasn't too difficult as the interview with the hiring manager was pretty conversational.
