I participated in the initial 30 minute phone call interview, after sending in resume/cover letter as an employee referral. Company rep I spoke with asked lots of unclear questions, often double-barrelled. That threw me off made me unsure which point in the question I should address. Within the last few minutes, I was told the hourly wage ($20/hr), which was an extreme low-ball figure, and an unliveable wage for the area of the country I live in. I followed up with an email to negotiate a higher wage, but Alma wouldn't budge. Seems like the company pay scale is really unbalanced, with engineers and operations staff earning over $100k and associates, who do the equally valuable and necessary work of engaging with clients, are paid unprofessional wages of $41k. I honestly don't even want to work for a company who pays anyone on the team that little.
