I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Alliance Rehab (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Interview took place on site where I met with a regional clinical representative and was introduced to facility staff briefly and provided a tour of the facility. I was introduced as a potential candidate for hire. My resume was reviewed with me while in a quiet and private area of the facility 1:1. I was not able to meet with my would-be immediate supervisor and it was unclear as to why. I was asked my interview questions in an informal manner while walking and sitting down only briefly to discuss specifics (hours, number of patients in a day, uniform, etc.) It took approximately 1 hour for the entire process. The representative was very friendly, personable and professional.

Why do you want to work for us? What type of experience do you have? What are your strengths? Weaknesses? What is your least favorite type or diagnosis of patient to treat and why?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alliance Rehab (Edwardsville, IL) in Jun 2014
Interview
Very easy phone interview followed by in person interview. Second interview was basically an orientation. Be prepared to give your beliefs on fitness and what you can do to grow the program larger. This job is with senior citizens in many stages of geriatric care so be prepared for that.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alliance Rehab (Tempe, AZ) in Mar 2012
Interview
I found them through an online job referral source. However, they hired me direct, not through an agency (which I liked). Everyone I spoke with was courteous, timely, respectful and easy to talk with. The interview was efficient and I was hired on the spot. The HR department is efficient with documentation and helps to keep everyone up to date. Overall, the hiring and interview process was a good experience.

Question 1
I was asked about my background in physical therapy, my specific experience, my goals and expectations. Working in a skilled nursing facility was a new experience for me, so the most uncomfortable situation was just the initial start of work due to my lack of confidence in the are. However, the staff and leadership was excellent and I gained confidence quickly and felt right at home.
