      Part-time EAP Counselor Interview

      Aug 15, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at AllOne Health in Aug 2024

      Interview

There was a quick 15 minute phone screen and then they scheduled a 30 minute interview with HR and an Operations person. In the 30minute interview they did not have anyone with clinical experience asking questions about my clinical work. They stated that it is required to see both individuals and couples. I do not have training or experience working with couples and when I brought up that that is an ethics concern they blew it off. They stated that the intake specialists only look at available schedules, not specialty areas. This is very concerning, as a licensed professional counselor I must abide by ACA's ethics. It is my license at stake. I stated this to them and they were not concerned about it. Additionally, they are only paying $35-$40 per hour and tell you you get to choose to be either a w-2 or 1099 contactor. That is a very low rate for the work and especially low as a contractor rate. Proceed with caution with them. The boasted how much they were growing by buying up smaller EAP firms, this is a red flag.
