You complete a series of self-guided video questions online, which honestly I didn't mind because the asynchronous communication makes it easy to work through the process when you get a few minutes.
The background check process was utterly absurd though. The company needed to verify my entire employment record for the past SEVEN YEARS. SEVEN. YEARS. I've never heard of such nonsense, and I had issues during the process which I eventually was able to get them to back off, but seriously. I've never heard of such an invasive process and I seriously hope they consider revising it.
