In the JD, they listed "Deep Airtable platform expertise (perferred)" - this criteria is absolutely mandatory, not preferred. You are asked to build an app within their Airtable platform and role-play a proposal presentation to a customer. Process started with recruiter screening, then jumped directly to the assignment /presentation with two Airtable peers in R2... no HM interaction until R3.
Even after learning the entire software fundamentals over a few days, the questions they asked were extremely granular and nuanced... as if you were already an internal employee applying for this role. The resulting feedback was that I was weak on the "consulting piece."
Don't bother with this role unless you already know the platform, and make sure you specify with the recruiter what criteria are truly req'd before you waste hours of your time learning and building an app.
TLDR; Average difficulty IF you know Airtable deeply. Difficult if you don't.
