I would strongly advise job seekers to be cautious here. I went through two rounds of interviews and was explicitly told by both the recruiter and the hiring manager that I had the job. They even congratulated me on the new role. However, they then asked me to come in for a "shadowing" session, which felt like a way to get unpaid labor or delay the process.
Despite being "hired" and completing the shadowing, the communication stopped. It is incredibly disrespectful to lead a candidate on and tell them they are hired when there is no actual intention to onboard them. This branch does not respect your time or your career. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
