I applied for this job and was contacted on a Saturday via e-mail about scheduling a phone screen which I did and completed the next week. Pretty basic questions which led to my in-person interview with the hiring manager.
I met the hiring manager at one of the AirGas locations that is not the one I would be working from. He was late for our interview, seemed distracted and rude. Every question he asked was in an intimidating way and required me to defend nearly every career move I made that was published on my resume..
At the end of the day none of that is even my biggest issue with their hiring process. My biggest complaint is that while I went to a fcility, nobody can bother to reach out. You have to dig and find your original email so you can log into a portal and find out you were "not selected" If I take time off of work and out of my day to come to your location, you can at least make a 30 second phone call.
Clearly this company and I were not going to be a good match if they are this disrespectful during the interview process.
