I applied online. I interviewed at Air Contact Transport (New York, NY)
Interview
She called me and told me that the hourly pay would be $14.00, initially it was 40k a year. She said that the hours were from9-5:30 and I do not mind the hours at all but I do mind that she was very rude and when you are that rude on the phone...god knows what you would be like working for you. I not trying to toot my horn but I am a college grad and no I will not be working for that. I have way too much experience for this. BTW she wanted me to come in the same day for a interview, no time to research the company or anything. So I called her back and told her no thank you. I make 48k where I work now, I just wanted something closer to my house.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Air Contact Transport (Lorton, VA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I was rejected for no reason..literally. The interview went well, the guy who interviewed me said he really liked me. But as with all these companies, my application was sent off to their headquarters in new jersey. This lets a company pick employees going solely on what's on your piece of paper, what's the point of even interviewing at that point? Anyway, I was told I'd hear something later in the week. I didn't hear one word so I called human resources and asked for an update. The lady literally said "you aren't hired, for no reason." I was nearly speechless, I asked her what's the reasoning so I can know for future reference, she said "There is no reason." Wow! Very helpful. Judging by the reviews of this company, looks like those of us who were rejected dodged a bullet anyway. I have no felonies, nothing on my driving record, and have relevant experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Air Contact Transport (Allentown, PA) in Oct 2014
Interview
The guy that interviewed me was very up front cool and laid back. I knew I could do the job so I told him that I could do this position no problem. Simple quick interview. Fastest one I ever had.
