Very strange interview process. For starters, nobody would share what the salary for the role was. I asked in each of the two rounds and this was kept on the hush. My second round interview was with one of the managers of the department. At the end of the interview I asked about next steps and she had no idea. I eventually was randomly notified on a Sunday that I advanced and was to do an assignment. I completed the assignment thoroughly and sent it back in 24 hours, going above and beyond to make a good impression. I then didn't hear any true update for weeks. Randomly then a new HR guy emails me saying he's taking over the hiring for the role and will follow up with the team. A few days later on a Friday, well after working hours, he calls me and says the team expected more creativity (with no examples or backing to this, just a blanket statement likely pulled out of thin air) and that the role is now put on hold? After I completed a 10 page free work assignment... with basically no feedback or follow up to that. His reasoning was they are too busy to hire now? Extremely and insanely unprofessional experience.
