The owner was so odd. He was late for my first and my second interview. Spent about 15 minutes gloating about his plane in the first, then went super hard into the interview questions making me stumble a bit due to being so uncomfortable. He seemed to expect me to know the entire clinical research field despite knowing I have no experience. He made a joke about seeing my application a few months prior but not liking it enough to interview me. Something came up while having a more normal conversation where I stated something about my husband's job. He then proceeded to tell me that having a young married woman in the position was scary because "Women tend to do what their husbands want. If he wants to leave Vegas you will probably agree and leave." They had me take home a huge packet to study for my second interview. I answered a question from the packet in my second interview correctly and he told me I was wrong. Luckily, someone else was in there with me and corrected him but I think he was upset. Told me he would contact me the next day but never did. While my interview wasn't perfect, I feel like I ultimately didn't get the job simply because I am a "feeble-minded" young married woman.
