Sent my resume to the head of the department who said they would be having a position opening. Interviewed over the phone with about six employees in Boca, NYC, and San Antonio. I heard complaints from current employees about the way they manage the sales process/territories. That was a bit of a red flag but I was willing to soldier through. That was six months ago. They posted for the job twice, and told me that the position was just going to open as soon as a supervisor approved. They told me that the "process was taking longer than anticipated".
Even though they were my #1 choice, I gave up waiting on them. It's pretty clear the firm is in disarray and unsure of its direction. Looking back, not getting an offer was likely the best thing that happened to my career.
