I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Activision (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2012
Interview
Interview process was chaotic at best. One phone interview never happened, and I didn't receive an email to reschedule until days later. One in-person interview had me waiting for an hour to see the hiring manager. In the end, I got an offer from another company, so I ended the process, which was a huge relief. The company and products are cool, but internally they seem really disorganized / dysfunctional.

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Activision
Interview
Recruiter grilled me like I was lying. I’ve never experienced anything like it in my 15+ year career. He said he would set me up with HM and then ghosted me. Looked at my LI several times after that as well.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Activision (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Mystifying experience. I went through a panel and multiple interviews over six hours in one day. Everything went extremely well, then I was ghosted for two weeks. Finally I tracked down the recruiter who apologized and told me the company was having some problems and that I didn't get the job. I believe they actually decided to not fill the position at all.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Activision (Santa Monica, CA)
Interview
The interview process itself was great and as I would expect. I met with each team member and thought the interview went well. The follow up was the disappointing part. After my on-site interviews, I was informed that the SVP wanted to meet a few more candidates before bringing the finalists back on-site to meet with additional Business Leaders with whom this role would partner. After that, I never heard from them again - not even to tell me that the hiring manager had decided to move forward with other candidates. I wasn't upset I didn't get the role - I was bothered that I didn't receive any follow up and no one closed out the process with me.
