I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Beaumont, TX) in Sep 2013
Interview
The supervisor over Ammunition and Firearms asked me all about certain types of ammunition and
firearms. Since I was a former Marine and avid gun collector, I was able to communicate with the supervisor.
The supervisor was very courteous, and set a good example for Academy.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The most difficult part I had was the firearms testing. It took several days to finish. I wanted to hurry
and get on the floor to start meeting people and trying to sell ammunition and firearms.
After all the training I had, why I did not get rehired after resubmitting my application when I was told to
resubmit by several team leads at Academy Beaumont. The team leads told me my customers were
still asking for me to help them.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Academy Sports + Outdoors (Beaumont, TX) in Jan 2012
Interview
There was not much to the interview process there is not a specific thing they are looking for give an answer any answer and you get the job. If you ask me they really was just talking about nothing job related. it was like being interviewed by frat boys.
