recently interviewed for the SDR Manager role at Abnormal Security, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely negative. The entire recruitment process felt disorganised, rushed, and unprofessional, which has left me with a poor impression of the company.
The interview itself lasted only around 15 minutes, which didn’t allow me enough time to ask meaningful questions or gain a proper understanding of the role or the company’s culture. It felt as though the recruiter wasn’t interested in engaging properly or providing sufficient details about the position.
The recruiter’s conduct was unprofessional, particularly when it came to communication. I had to follow up multiple times just to receive basic feedback. At one point, I was told there were no reservations about my application, which made the decision not to move forward all the more frustrating and surprising.
Additionally, I was initially led to believe there were no concerns about my candidacy, only to later find out that they had decided to move in a different direction without providing a clear explanation. This inconsistency only added to my disappointment.
Ultimately, the whole process left me with a negative view of Abnormal Security as a potential employer. Given the lack of communication, the rushed nature of the interview, and the unprofessional conduct of the recruiter, I will not be considering this company for future opportunities and would strongly advise others to approach with caution.
