I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Honolulu, HI) in Nov 2011
Interview
Very relaxed group interview with a store manager or assistant manager and other people applying for part time positions. Each candidate is asked the same question one by one, usually three questions total. The interview process is not competitive, more than one person can be hired from the group interview or none at all. Total time is about 15 to 20 minutes, you will probably spend more time waiting at the store for the manager to round all the applicants up than the actual interview.
One on one individual interview that encourages you to dress the part for the image of Abercrombie. Group interviews allow you share your thoughts while bouncing off of each others’ input.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Santa Barbara, CA)
Interview
A manager sat a group of us down outside the store somewhere within the mall. They asked specific questions about the Abercrombie style and brand. They didn't ask much about the candidates individually. This was many years ago, so I'm sure it's different now.

Interview
Small group interview in the mall round table questions. Easy, don’t copy the other answers that’s it. Hear back pretty quick. Overall great vibe would highly recommend it to college students
