I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Columbus, OH) in Dec 2011
Interview
There are two levels of interviews for Abercrombie and Fitch merchandising--the first is an on-campus interview (or preliminary interview if off campus) which includes a short IQ test and a merchandising exercise, in addition to normal interview questions. The second (final) level is one at the headquarters, where you are competing with other interviewees in mass group interview style. It's an all-day event which starts with tours and group activities, and then there are personalized interviews (two with different people of varying management positions) and a self-recorded interview with a webcam. There are several HR people that guide you along the way and you are assigned a mentor before the process.

I applied online. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Reynoldsburg, OH)
Interview
It consisted of a couple rounds of interviews, a trend analysis, and retail math test. They took way too long to get back to me even after numerous emails to tell me I didn’t get the role.

Question 1
What trends do you see coming up in the next year?
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch
Interview
Process was pretty grueling for an entry level position. Multiple rounds that included case studies, panel interviews and one-on-one interviews with hiring managers. Home office is beautiful and they really do want to make sure that the culture is as much of a fit for you as you are for the position that you are interviewing for.
