I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch (Schaumburg, IL) in Jun 2011
Interview
It was a pretty quick interview with the manager of the store. We sat outside with the other interviewees, and depending on the position we were applying for, the manager would ask us to answer a few questions. The setting was very casual and the appropriate attire would have been casualwear similar to the brand. Try to keep makeup to a minimum since they want to hire fresh-faced models, and show that you're capable of good interpersonal communication. They ask you why you want to work at the store and to describe the image that the store is trying to convey. They also ask some generic questions like 'tell us about a time when you had to work with another person'. Overall, a pretty simple interview.

Interview
Group Interview with 3-5 other candidates. We were asked questions about our customer service experience, why we would be a good fit for Abercrombie Kids, inclusivity/diversity. How do you believe you can create a positive experience for guests coming in and purchasing merchandise?

They wanted very outgoing and charming people who smile a lot naturally, so do those things and you will be off to a great start. The job is tedious, but fine.
