Interview
Started with a phone interview with the Head of Recruitment, followed by a face to face with the same Head of Recruitment and the Sales Director.
Sales Director seems a fan of the "jack-the-lad" type salesperson, declaring his salespeople didn't care about the products they were selling, and that a salesperson with a technical background should stick to presales.
I'm sorry that you didn't feel that your experience interviewing with us was a positive one. Our sales people certainly do care about the products they are selling. With such a wide range of solutions on offer, our point was that you cannot know all of the solutions we sell inside out, the technical expertise comes from our technical pre-sales team. The focus of our account managers is to look after our customers first and engage our technical team, vendors and distribution to deliver the solution required.
