      Business Analyst Interview

      Feb 21, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ASOS (London, England) in Jan 2021

      Interview

The Interview process spanned across 3 weeks, the stages looked like the below: - Application Submitted - Initial phone interview (videos not required): I was interviewed by two people who introduced themselves first, and asked about my background the types of projects I currently work on. - Video Interview: I had to prepare a presentation of how I would approach a large project/problem. Note: The interview process was very smooth many thanks to HR for accurately communicating across timelines and for their passion for individuals through the recruitment process. Timeliness and passion definitely facilitated the process and it is what every interview process should have.

      Interview

Very unprofessional, seemed like the interviewer didn't care at all. There was a lot of background noise like she was in a corridor or on her way. Never received any feedback, not even an automated rejection

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASOS

      Interview

Communication with the recruitment team was good. I applied for a role and had 2 long interviews. I felt that the interview was not suited to showing your skills and the questions were either so broad you didn’t know what they were really asking or so specific that if you didn’t know the answer you couldn’t expand. They knew I didn’t have retail experience yet continued to ask me really specific questions on it and started shooting words at me to see if I knew what they meant: it felt like they were making the questions up on the spot.
