I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA (Boldon, England) in Oct 2015
Interview
Filled in application online then completed online assessments. I was then invited to an Asda magic event where there was about 9 of us. We first had a presentation task where we had to turn to the person next to us and ask them three questions then present these back to the group. The three questions were why do you want to work at asda, what would you do if you won the lottery, and then if you were a cartoon character which one and why. We then watched a video on whats it like working for asda and then did a group task. The group task consisted of groups of 5 and we had to pick an item out of a bag and then create an advert for it sorta like a sales pitch of its pros and cons. We were then invited back for a one to one interview the next day.

Question 1
Did you enjoy the magic event? When have you provided good customer service and why is this important? What's your view on being off work eg sickness?
Ok. A lot of questions though and they don’t really seem relevant to the position. Not sure why you get asked when you’ve gone above and beyond to be honest
