I applied through other source. I interviewed at ALDI (Clevedon, England) in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied via government website filled in application form which included lots of multiple choice questions. I received an email from Aldi offering a 1 to 1 20 min interview at the store I wished to work in. I was interviewed my an Area Manager who asked me to tell her about myself, did a 5 min maths test and another brief test and she briefly described the job role to me. It was a good interview and she said that I would hear within 24 hours via email whether I was going to be offered a trial shift in one of their stores....so hope to hear tom

Question 1
If there was a customer who had loaded their shopping on a conveyer belt at a till that was not opened and I was unloading stock on the shop floor....all other tills were busy...what would I do....
Pleasant and honest. Interview was held a hotel conference space in an open day format. Prospective workers were called in batches in a sort of ‘speed dating’ format. Interviewers were actual assistant store managers and as such were able to provide relevant insight into the role.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Sheffield, England) in Sep 2024
Interview
Informal interview so if you don't become best friends with the interviewer at the end, you wont get the job however I'm glad I wasn't put through as the interviewer told me that it does not only consist of stock and some customer service, as you'll be basically be doing 4 jobs in rotation most of the time. Yes, not for that pay I wont, thanks for the rejection :)
