What is the salary like at Walgreens?

Base pay is excellent for an entry level retail management career. PTO/vacation is fairly generous and accrues quickly. You may have up to have absences without needing a doctors note/possible disciplinary action/etc.

Work-life balance is not great, you can work 7+ days in a row especially if your store is short staffed. Weekends and evenings are also typically required of most shift leads. Though base pay is good, you only get a 1% raise annually on average.

Typically working around good people, as well as some flexibility with scheduling and decent pay.

It is hard work, customers yell at you, The software is incredibly old and slow, you need to remember insurance information about specific companies, there are laws that need to be followed, its a struggle to actually know who your boss is as there are at least 2 of them present and each want you to do something specific.

The pay is very good for being a cashier and there are a lot of advancement opportunities.

It can be political and they play favorites at my store

Good pay, good comradery, flexible schedules, and good company culture and values.

No complaints in my opinion.

Pay is good if you are hourly. Easy work.

Minimal amount of training, No overtime pay if you are salary. No security so there is CONSTANT theft. Thieves constantly attacking employees with weapons sending them to hospital to get stitches. Not a safe environment and corporate still will not get security

There are no pros to this failing company.

The pay is terrible very low for the market, management is micromanaging, coworkers are toxic. The customers you work for are entitled and management feeds into entitlement. Overall terrible experience planning to leave soon.
