      Pros

Positive colleagues with a genuine interest in helping others achieve as part of the overall success of the organisation. Good range of ages, genders and race. Management is very supportive of diversity and inclusion, and does lots to support social interactions and sports, through regular groups and events. There’s an on site gym, multi faith rooms, good amount of cycle parking, study areas and several cafes and restaurants serving reasonably priced food.

      Cons

It’s a big firm with a lot going on, so you might find yourself working longer hours than usual, but it’s never a dull day! The recent CS merger has been challenging for obvious reasons.

      Pros

      Cons

As a new graduate, this role was an intense introduction to the professional world. I didn’t fully understand the level of complexity and pressure involved until I started. I later learned that the position typically hires experienced professionals, which makes sense given the high-risk, high-pressure environment and the steep learning curve. The expectation to quickly absorb a large amount of technical material while contributing immediately was overwhelming at times. For future candidates, I would recommend having prior experience or at least foundational knowledge in corporate actions processing to be set up for success in this role.
