I worked at UBS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Interesting clients. Access to research. The small size of the company means that access to IT support, operational support

    Cons

Pressure, pressure, pressure to bring in "net new money". Some of the upper management (not CEO) have questionable ethics and the client does not always come first. Much is made of work life balance, but it is frowned upon to leave at a normal time. Working late etc. is not only rewarded but makes other employees feel deficient if they do not.
