How is management perceived at Alorica?

      Cons

This company is actually good but in banglore they are making it worst by twisting their words, hr will say hell lot of things while onboarding but later they will dust their hands and say they never told that, when you complaint to higher management they directly reject that that person is not from Alorica at all...it's a scam company and also hr and management create and dissolve the policies according their benefits and they don't have any professionalism they higher even the people whole smook weed drink alcohol as I have worked their people use to come when they are drunk and management cannot find out and also they do not have job security they will higher you for process and they move you to the other and again they will move you and they will promise work from home but they will never fullfill they will turn back from their words saying we never promised you such a liers.... And salary dnt even ask worst company ..

      HR is not great

      Pros

The best part of working at Alorica is definitely the coworkers. Some of the managers can be chill, emphasis on “some” and “can.”

      Cons

The cost of health insurance with this employer is very high and I don’t believe they offer paid medical leave to employees. Job raises are not offered, either. HR is extremely hard to reach and harassment cases are never taken seriously unless it’s one of the favorites reporting a relatively minor one-off occurrence, in which case the firing happens almost instantly while HR only sends the non-favored employee home for weeks so HR can pretend to fairly review the case. As you can probably tell, the favoritism is crazy at this job, and so are the office politics. Team managers often pick severely under-qualified individuals for promotions and openly state to other managers that the individual was picked for being the more “likable” choice, which is defined as being less likely to be vocal of their personal opinions as they differ from those of the team manager. I know of two different employees who have been overlooked for promotion for over two years for this reason despite both being officially recognized experts at the actual job, whereas people who repeatedly break client policy on calls and give incorrect information to coworkers have been officially promoted after a short period of on the job experience, with zero corrective action taken against their negative performance. Management in general are not very knowledgeable or concerned about call procedure, though, so that doesn’t really come as a huge shock.

      Pros

Job security 50-50% and not much i can say about pros.

      Cons

I can say a lot of negative about this company. 1. This company does not provide any hike in the salary even after they complete 3-plus years. 2. They don't try to understand the hard work that agent-level, team managers do. 3. The managers are too being pressurized. 4. The management isn't good, probably because the clients that they choose are not satisfactory. 5. This company has nonvoice and voice. The non-voice agents, team leads, and managers are targeted and pressured. 6. They just want to get the work done even if they are unwell. They would ask people to log in during the time of being unwell. 7. Sick leave should be informed prior which makes no sense. 8. The team managers are not treated as team managers, but as some low level agents. 9. The employees are not treated as they should be. 10. Phones for team managers are not allowed but only for managers, in case of any issues with the agent's system who is working from home, then, the team manager must go out and fix their issue by calling them. 11. Unnecessary security checks even for the team managers, but still they carry their eatables inside. 12. Managers are very harsh on their sub-ordinates and they do not know how to behave politely.

      Pros

Alorica is a great place to move up quickly.

      Cons

There is a lack of communication from upper management as well as lack of empathy for their employees. You can also be downsized at the drop of a hat and when you do move up you don't receive bonuses, you don't receive overtime, and you don't receive any perks when being in management or operation support. You will make more money as an agent.

      Cons

The people on the floor are too toxic. The company give promotions on how much you can bucket the management rather than how much you have scores.
