Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from September 15 to October 15 in the U.S. It's celebrated over two calendar months with good reason: It covers the independence anniversaries of several Latin American countries and key celebrations in Hispanic and Latin communities. Apart from commemorating major holidays and historic milestones, this month honors the cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx Americans. Here at Zapier, we’re proud to honor and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We've crafted a series of weekly challenges for members to participate in, fostering cultural appreciation. Teammates are selecting books authored by someone of Hispanic heritage, followed by a discussion in our book club, and we're all encouraged to savor cuisine from Hispanic restaurants, broadening our culinary horizons. Some of the events we’re hosting include a Pride Photo Contest, Drag Bingo, and Black Queer Joy, which recognizes the incredible contributions of Black queer figures throughout history.
