Q&A with Alan Everitt-Story, Senior IT Manager Before joining Vortexa, Alan worked at Amnesty International UK, a leading human rights charity, leading a team, in a similar role. Alan enjoys all things tech and a bit of geeky fun. Outside of work, he is a massive animal lover and he’s into sports, TV shows, movies, and music. A day in the life of Dhruv Segat, Senior Data Engineer Dhruv grew up in Delhi, India, and moved to the UK to study Computer Science at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2021. Before joining Vortexa, he worked as an MLOps Engineer in cybersecurity at Proofpoint. Fun fact: Dhruv studied art and painting for 11 years during school and still enjoys picking up a brush from time to time.
Back in December our Singapore volunteered at the Willing Hearts charity, dedicating their time to support a meaningful cause. It was a great reminder of the impact we can make when we step outside our day-to-day roles and give back to the community. After the volunteering session the team had a great time at the video game arcade followed by dinner. A great end to the 2025!
