The Verily team was excited to participate in the Regeneron Digital Biomarker Summit this week! Sooyoon Shin, Senior Manager, Digital Biomarkers, gave a fantastic talk on our approach to measuring Parkinson’s disease progression in clinical trials using active and passive digital endpoints with Numetric Digital Measures.
For data scientists working in healthcare, the ability to govern, analyze and collaborate on the right data remains a challenge, and can slow down the pace of biomedical research. Platforms like Verily Workbench provide the infrastructure and collaborative tools to unlock the value of multimodal health data at scale, enabling biomedical research.
Together with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF), we’re expanding the impact of the Personalized Parkinson’s Project (PPP), a two-year study of 520 people with Parkinson’s led by Verily and Radboud University Medical Center. Recently, we received a $14.7M grant to generate a comprehensive molecular dataset from the PPP. The data will be made available to researchers globally using Verily’s Workbench platform, aiming to improve understanding and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
Measles cases are rising in the US, posing a significant public health risk. Early detection is critical to help mitigate the spread. With the development of a new assay, Verily Sightline now offers wastewater monitoring for measles, enabling early warning and ongoing monitoring to inform public health strategies and communications.
Employers are facing challenges with GLP-1 coverage costs. In our recent webinar moderated by Lydia Ramsey Pflanzer of Endpoints News, David Burdick, Sarah Thompson, and Heidi Guetzkow discussed how employers are navigating coverage decisions and incorporating weight management programs like Verily Lightpath*. Hear more about this trend and how Verily is addressing GLP-1 management. * To be available in 2026
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF) and Verily have been collaborating for years across a number of research initiatives. Last week, we announced a $14.7M grant from MJFF to develop a public data resource exploring Parkinson’s disease as it relates to a person’s genetics, immune system and metabolism. The data will be provided to the research community through Verily’s Workbench solution.
Biomedical research thrives on collaboration, but data silos can be a barrier to advance new discoveries and therapies. Join our live webinar on June 3 at 9:30 AM PT to learn how Verily can break down data silos through secure, efficient, and collaborative data sharing and curation to advance research and discovery. Verily experts David Glazer and Shimon Rura will lead the discussion.
Managing clinical trials comes with challenges—disjointed workflows, outdated software, and manual execution against static PDF protocols. There’s a better way to protocol.
