In 2019, our commercial team in India joined SayTrees, a local NGO, to participate in a tree plantation campaign. Teleflex employees worked with Bengaluru residents and planted 2200 saplings using Miyawaki, a Japanese technique where you plant saplings very close to each other. This way, the saplings complement each other and help each other grow into a forest. This project was a huge success. The team were very proud when they returned to the site this year to see the progress of the trees planted.

Our HR team recently came together in Minnesota, where they organized activities to help some local causes. The team made baby blankets to donate to a local children's hospital and created welcome baskets for the nonprofit organization Simpson Housing, which assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Our Talent Acquisition team in Morrisville, North Carolina, recently organized a toy drive through our JOIN Act with Purpose program. The team donated sensory and tactile toys to the Child Life Services Department at a local hospital to help the children cope with the anxieties and stresses of hospital visits.
We are proud to sponsor the winner's jersey for the Handbike tour "Giro d'Italia Handbike", a competition for Paralympic athletes. From 3 April to 16 October 2022, we will present the Teleflex sponsored pink jersey to each winner as they travel through Italy from south to north. We strongly believe in this type of initiative supporting people with disabilities who find a means of overcoming life's difficulties through sport.
