About Store it Forward: Our Charitable Giving Program Store it Forward is the philanthropic arm of our company. We contribute to communities where StorageMart and Manhattan Mini Storage call home. We want to achieve a positive global impact in our industry and set an example that others can follow. YOUR FEEDBACK = GIVING We pledge a donation to our charities for every online review our customers give us. SPONSORSHIPS = GIVING We have partnered with national organizations across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. These partners help us build brighter futures on a global scale. TACKLE TRACKER We began our Tackle Tracker Donation program a few years ago, in an effort to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) while cheering for our home teams during football season. For every tackle made by the Kansas City Chiefs or Mizzou Football, we make a corresponding donation to BBBSA. By the end of the 2022-23 season, the Chiefs had made an incredible 1,326 tackles--we had pledged $10 per tackle, but rounded our donation up to $50,000 to make an even bigger impact. We recently presented another check at Mizzou's game against LSU for last year's Tackle Tracker proceeds. Tackles are currently being tracked for more donations this season: regular updates can be viewed on our Facebook page. See our Store It Forward web page (link below) for more information, and a full list of charities we support in the US, UK, and Canada.

If you’re in college, you know that summer can be a great time to relax and recharge after the school year. But it can also be a hassle to figure out where you are living in the upcoming semester or where to put all your stuff when you move out of your dorm/apartment. Whether you are going home for the summer or staying on campus, here are some storage options to help you. Student Storage Options There are a multitude of reasons why a college student may need self storage. If you live with roommates in a dorm or apartment you know there are usually duplicate items that take up a lot of space. The usual culprits — microwaves, mini fridges, toasters, or an extra desk can be stored away so you can have more space in what is likely an already cramped living space. Or you may be spending the summer abroad and need somewhere to store your things close to campus for when you get back. When it comes to choosing summer storage for students, there are a few things to consider. You’ll first want to find a location close to campus so you can easily access your belongings when you need them. You’ll also want to choose a storage option that fits your budget. It is also beneficial to choose climate-controlled storage so your items in storage are protected from the heat and humidity in the summer. If your roommates or friends need space too, you all could split the price of a larger unit to make it more cost-effective. What Type of Storage Should I Choose? 1. Self Storage Units: The
Tackle Tracker and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America At StorageMart we believe it’s essential to support our local communities through our Store It Forward initiative which includes discounted storage for charity partners, along with fundraisers such as the Tackle Tracker and Review Feedback Campaign. The Tackle Tracker Donation program was started a couple years ago to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA). Every tackle completed by the Kansas City Chiefs, or the Mizzou Football team resulted in a corresponding donation to BBBSA. By the end of the 2020/21 NFL season, which resulted in the Chiefs going to their fourth straight AFC Championship, $50,000 had been raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Halftime Check Presentation On August 25th, during the third and final preseason game for the Chiefs against the Green Bay Packers, we were able to present the check to representatives of BBBSA during halftime at GEHA Field at Arrowhead. Along with the money raised, the presentation further raises awareness for BBBSA to the thousands in attendance of their mission to provide mentorship to this nation’s youth. BBBSA’s Mission Big Brothers Big Sisters was founded in 1904, and since then, the organization has operated under the belief that every child has incredible potential waiting to be realized. They are the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network. By matching up adult mentors (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), in communit
