Building a culture of appreciation at Star Group At Star Group, we understand that our success depends on the dedication of our incredible team members, especially during the busiest times of the year. This winter, our hourly employees went above and beyond, working tirelessly through challenging conditions to keep operations running smoothly. We’re proud to recognize their efforts with a special bonus! We believe in showing gratitude where it’s due—because at Star Group, we’re more than just a workplace. We’re a team that supports each other and celebrates hard work.
Star Group and Habitat for Humanity – building brighter futures. Whether it's donating time, talent, equipment or funds, the Star Group team always takes the opportunity to make a positive difference in the communities that we serve. Through a long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity, Star Group has joined forces to help families create better lives through home ownership. Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. Families and individuals in need of help partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home, alongside volunteers from the local community and team members from companies like Star Group. Our teams participate in many Habitat for Humanity home builds and other initiatives in communities that our family of brands serve throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Over the years, the Star Group team has also helped communities around the US get homes back up and running after major storms and natural disasters, by donating and installing HVAC systems and helping rebuild homes.
