Each year, Sequoia team members are given 32 hours of purpose time to volunteer in their communities. In honor of #EarthDay, Serena DeChristofaro, our Social Media Marketing Specialist used some of her hours picking up trash with California State Parks Foundation for their Earth Day Climate Action at China Camp State Park in San Rafael, CA. Serena helped contribute to picking up 50+ gallons of litter on the beaches, roads, and trails in the park. “Sustainability and giving back to the Earth is such a passion of mine and I am so happy Sequoia gives us an opportunity to give back to organizations that we care for so much!” Happy Earth Day from Sequoia! 🌍 #ElevateTheEveryday #CalParksEarthDay
As the COVID-19 vaccination is being rolled out in the states we do business, we have been actively working to provide our teams with resources and information about how to sign up for the vaccine in their area. If they choose to get vaccinated, our team members will receive paid time off for their appointments and also to rest and recover. Supporting our team members throughout this process is our goal so they can continue to #ElevateTheEveryday.
