We’re very proud that Pure DC's Abu Dhabi data centre (AUH01) won ‘Digital Infrastructure Deal of the Year’ in the IJ Global Awards (MENA) for 2024. The award recognised the first phase of the hyperscale data centre campus in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. SMBC Group was the sole underwriter on the full financing package for AUH01. Pure DC’s AUH01 campus is the first international developer hyperscale DC in region. Our thanks to SMBC for its partnership in constructing the deal and to IJGlobal for the recognition. Since the deal, teams at Pure DC, along with our partners, have been hard at work bringing this project to life.
