At OCBC, we believe that #WellbeingStartsHere! Since 2014, we've created opportunities for family bonding through events like Kids @ Work. This year, we were thrilled to welcome 67 children of our OCBC Singapore employees for a day filled with fun and learning. The day kicked off with an exploratory visit to OCBC's flagship Wisma Atria branch, where children engaged in role-playing at the teller counter and explored financial literacy through an interactive quiz. Back at OCBC Centre, they unleashed their creativity in DIY workshops, making pens and arranging flowers, which for some children also turned into heartfelt gifts for their parents. Another highlight was the Real Families, Real Stories workshop, where children illustrated what family means to them through art. From vibrant drawings of rainbows to sketches of their favourite home-cooked meals, these creations beautifully captured the essence of family love and connection. Ms. Cheryl Lee, a Vice President in OCBC's Group Human Resources division, shared how this was a precious experience for her seven-year-old son. "It's easy for work to feel abstract to children, just a place their parents disappear to every morning. But after today. my son will be able to picture where I am, what I do, and the people I work with. It makes our conversations about work more relatable and meaningful, and I think it brings us closer." These heartfelt moments are what make Kids @ Work so special.
