The work happening behind the scenes to better understand and protect Aoteraroa's biodiversity often happens in some pretty wild places. Through Fund for Good, Macpac gear is helping support Te Papa researchers as they head into caves, alpine environments, coastlines and dig sites across the country (and beyond!) – doing the muddy, fascinating work most of us never get to see. We're very proud to play a small part in something bigger, and to help equip the people who research the incredible places we call home. Read more via Te Papa: https://lnkd.in/edv4p_Pb

Meet the Astral Tent Range, our first-ever walking pole tents. Available in 1-person and 2-person options, these three-season shelters are ultralight without compromising on space. The 1P comes in at just 887g (fly + four pegs), while the 2P clocks a minimal 1,050g (fly, footstrut + six pegs). A game changer for ultralight packers and thru-hikers.

Macpac is proud to announce that we’ve renewed our partnership with the Te Ahu Pātiki Charitable Trust for another five years. Based near our own backyard of Ōtautahi Christchurch, Te Ahu Pātiki is a public conservation land, with hiking trails, overlooking Whakaraupō Lyttelton Harbour, on Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula. The ultimate goal: restore native forests, wetlands, and wildlife, and bring the maunga back to its natural state. Our partnership with the Te Ahu Pātiki Charitable Trust is supported through Macpac’s Fund for Good, our way of giving back to non-profits with a long-term positive impact on people and the planet. Customers can support the Fund for Good by purchasing Fund for Good products or by refusing a bag in-store. When you refuse a bag in-store, we donate $0.20 to the Fund for Good.
We’re excited to announce that we are once again the Official Apparel Supplier of the NZ Paralympic Team for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games. The NZ Paralympic Team shares that same spirit. It’s grit under pressure, determination in adversity, and the ability to adapt and perform, whatever the challenge. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the NZ Paralympic Team again – supporting Paralympians who weather anything, with technical apparel built to do the same.
