On September 7th of 2022 Lighthouse announced the appointment of new CEO, Ron Markezich. Markezich will officially become CEO October 1, 2022, with previous CEO, Brian McManus staying on board as executive vice chair. Markezich has been a member of the board of directors since October 1, 2022, and has over 30 years of experience building solutions and serving the largest enterprises in the world. He is skilled at building brand equity and has experience in driving double-digit revenue growth. Outgoing CEO Brian McManus says, “Ron’s energy, experience set, and cultural fit make him the ideal person to lead the company forward. Under Ron’s leadership, Lighthouse will accelerate its ascension in our industry, and I’m looking forward to assisting that acceleration in any way I can in my new position.”
On August 11th of 2021 Lighthouse finalized its acquisition of H5, a leader in advanced search, review, and data analytics products and services. This acquisition of H5’s approximately 250 employees, was a move to modernize Lighthouse’s eDiscovery and information governance space. Brian McManus, CEO of Lighthouse at the time of the acquisition said, “together with H5, we will accelerate the modernization of document review by leveraging a combination of linguistics, data science, machine learning, and AI to create far superior outcomes for our clients.”
