Community service has always been a core part of Lamar’s culture. Recently, our Baton Rouge employees volunteered with the Baton Rouge Food Bank, packaging 1,200 bags of nutritious food for children at risk of going hungry when school meals aren’t available as part of the Backpack Program. This effort marks the beginning of our new partnership with First Tuesday, a volunteer movement committed to supporting different nonprofits on the first Tuesday of each month. Lamar employees will continue to lend their time and talents to a variety of organizations throughout our community. Learn more about their mission at firsttuesdayserves.com.
