Geolocation intelligence is changing how security and defence operations understand the world around them. Every movement, whether physical or digital, leaves behind a location signal. When analysed in real time, these signals reveal patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks that traditional systems often miss. With AI-driven geospatial analytics, agencies can move beyond static maps to dynamic, real-time decision-making. From border surveillance to disaster response and urban policing, the ability to detect unusual movement, track behaviour, and predict potential threats is becoming critical. 📰 India Today recently featured Tarun Wig, Co-founder & CEO of Innefu Labs, on India’s digital payments boom and the growing fraud challenge. He highlights a critical shift, fraud is no longer about volume, but value. Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting fewer, high-value transactions where systems are under pressure to process quickly, making detection harder. As digital payments scale rapidly across the country, the nature of fraud is becoming more organised, sophisticated, and harder to trace. This marks a turning point where traditional monitoring is no longer enough. What’s needed is intelligence-led detection that can identify patterns, anticipate risks, and act in real time. 🔗 Read more: https://www.indiatoday.in/business/story/indias-digital-boom-sees-rising-fraud-upi-bank-harder-to-detect-2898101-2026-04-18 #CyberSecurity #DigitalPayments #FinancialCrime #FraudDetection #FinTech #AI #DigitalIndia
A nationwide misinformation wave, decoded before it could escalate further. What appeared to be a surge in missing persons cases quickly turned into a high-velocity national narrative, amplified by hashtags, influencers, and a viral CCTV video that fuelled public panic. But the reality was different. The video wasn’t even from Delhi, and the majority of amplification wasn’t local, it was driven at scale from outside the region. This wasn’t just virality. It was a narrative being reshaped in real time. Using Innsight, the entire lifecycle of the narrative was mapped from the first signals to nationwide amplification. Key trigger accounts were identified, discourse shifts were tracked, and misleading content was verified, turning fragmented social media noise into clear, actionable intelligence. Because in today’s digital landscape, the real advantage isn’t in tracking what’s trending, it’s in understanding what’s true, what’s driving it, and what to do next. 👉 Decode the full case study: https://innefu.com/case-study/how-argus-exposed-a-cross-border-financial-crime-syndicate-spanning-banking-crypto-and-hawala/ #NarrativeIntelligence #OSINT #Misinformation #NationalSecurity #Innefu
📰 The Hindu Business Line recently featured Tarun Wig, Co-founder & CEO of Innefu Labs, in West Asia war spills over to cyberspace: Emails spoofed, cameras hacked. Sharing his perspective on how modern conflicts are evolving: “Today’s conflicts are no longer limited to physical battlefields. They span maritime, cyberspace, and information warfare simultaneously.” He highlighted how tactics like GPS jamming and “ghost ships” are being used to manipulate tracking systems, showing that digital interference is now a core part of military strategy. In this environment, AI-driven intelligence platforms play a critical role, enabling defence analysts to correlate satellite imagery, vessel movements, electronic signals, and open-source intelligence in real time, turning scattered data into actionable insight. 🔗 Read more: https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/info-tech/west-asia-war-spills-over-to-cyberspace-emails-spoofed-cameras-hacked/article70854341.ece/amp/ #CyberSecurity #CyberWarfare #NationalSecurity #ArtificialIntelligence #DefenceTech #OSINT #DigitalWarfare

Iran's MuddyWater APT group built Dindoor to be invisible. Traditional antivirus tools couldn't find it. We decided to hunt it down ourselves. In a controlled environment, our cyber forensic team introduced Dindoor, one of the most sophisticated state-sponsored malwares active in early 2026, and tasked RapiDFIR with finding and neutralizing it. No hints. No prior knowledge. Just one flagged IP address. Here's what the investigation uncovered: → A legitimate developer runtime weaponized as a hidden backdoor → A registry persistence key designed to survive every system reboot → A second unknown external IP, completely unknown to the SOC team → The complete Dindoor attack chain: built, deployed, and operating in silence Every step traced. Every technique documented. The threat neutralized. Entirely remotely. We recorded the entire investigation. It's now live as a full case study: https://innefu.com/case-study/how-rapidfir-detected-and-neutralized-dindoor/ __________ Huge credit to the people who made this happen: To Sunanjay and Gaurav: The forensic investigators who ran the investigation with exceptional rigour and uncovered every layer of this attack. This case study is a testament to their expertise. To Manish Kumar & Manish Gupta: For bringing the investigation to life visually, and making something deeply technical, genuinely compelling to watch.
In major criminal investigations, suspects may hide evidence, avoid cameras, and operate through intermediaries. But one thing almost always leaves a trace: communication. Call Detail Records don’t capture conversations, but they reveal patterns, who spoke to whom, when, and where. And that’s often enough to turn scattered suspicion into structured evidence. From homicide and kidnapping to organized crime and financial fraud, CDR analysis helps investigators reconstruct timelines, identify key connections, and map entire networks. The real challenge isn’t access to data, it’s making sense of massive telecom records quickly and accurately. When analysed systematically, CDRs become one of the most powerful investigative tools available. Read more: https://innefu.com/intelelinx/
📰 News18 Hindi interviewed Tarun Wig, Co-founder & CEO of Innefu Labs, on the removal of Chinese CCTV cameras from Delhi and what it means for national security. Tarun Wig highlighted that while surveillance systems are meant to enhance safety, foreign-controlled infrastructure can introduce serious risks, especially when sensitive video feeds are routed through external servers. At scale, with over 1.4 lakh cameras, this becomes a systemic vulnerability rather than an isolated concern. In high-risk geopolitical scenarios, such infrastructure could be misused, making the government’s move a proactive step towards strengthening digital sovereignty and securing critical systems. 🔗 Read more: https://hindi.news18.com/news/delhi/chinese-cameras-ban-1-lakh-4-hazar-china-hikvision-camera-removed-delhi-road-over-security-concerns-security-and-privacy-threats-local18-ws-l-10334874.html #CyberSecurity #NationalSecurity #DataPrivacy #Surveillance #SovereignAI #DigitalIndia #Infosec
