Funko has partnered with the WNBA to launch its first-ever line of WNBA-themed Pop! figures, featuring prominent athletes A’ja Wilson, Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, and Caitlin Clark. The collection celebrates the growing popularity and cultural significance of women’s basketball, with pre-orders beginning on May 14 to align with the start of the 2025 WNBA season. Funko highlighted that the collaboration is a tribute to the talent, energy, and influence of women in sports, bringing these trailblazers into Funko’s iconic Pop! lineup. This release marks a key milestone in Funko’s expansion into sports collectibles, building on previous NBA releases and basketball-related brand activations.
Funko has launched a new personalized collectible offering in partnership with Major League Baseball, allowing fans to create custom Pop! Yourself figures featuring authentic jerseys from all 30 MLB teams. Each figure includes team apparel and two themed accessories—such as a baseball, glove, foam finger, or popcorn—and comes packaged in official MLB-branded boxes. Priced at $45, the figures are available now through Funko’s Pop! Yourself platform. Jen Hann, General Manager of Pop! Yourself, noted that this expansion aligns with Funko’s mission to help fans express their passions in fun and innovative ways. This MLB collaboration also positions Funko to tap into the $30 billion personalized gifting market, building on similar partnerships with the NFL, NBA, and Dunkin’.
