We recently spoke to colleagues from across DLG about what it’s really like to work here — and three themes stood out. 🔹 Learning never stops – whether it’s through formal training, mentoring or day-to-day experiences, development is part of the journey. 🔹 We perform at our best – always looking for ways to optimise, improve and make an impact. 🔹 And we instil confidence – in each other, and in our customers. This is what our culture looks like. This is life at DLG. See opportunity all around you.

Last month, colleagues across DLG took part in the Race Matters Five-Day Challenge as part of Race Equality Week. The initiative highlighted the importance of everyone taking part in daily challenges that promote active allyship, intersectionality, and inclusive language at work. One month on, we asked some of the people who took part to tell us how the event impacted them. Check out our slides to find out more.
Our DLG Auto Services Centre in Crawley has completed the transition from gas to electric spray booths. This greener alternative will help us to achieve our agreed Science Based Target - to reduce emissions by 46% across our offices and accident repair centres by 2030 against a 2019 baseline. The switch to electric booths will cut DLG’s emissions by 1.5% overall The new setup will save 122 tonnes of CO2e every year This is just one step in our goal to reduce emissions by 46% by 2030 The team also introduced a heat recovery system to all three electric booths. This reclaims some of the heat from the exhausted air and uses it to preheat the incoming air, generating an expected 50% saving on energy consumption along with significant running costs savings. Bhavnita Patel, DLG’s Sustainability Project Lead, added, “It was a complex project, but the teamwork and commitment made it happen. I’d like to thank everyone involved throughout the project lifecycle for their support.” hashtag#Sustainability hashtag#GreenTechnology hashtag#ElectricBooths hashtag#DLGAutoServices 🪴🌏
