Its Time Dating Got Honest… That’s the message at the heart of 4creative’s new campaign to promote our upcoming series, The Honesty Box, which challenges the dishonesty in modern dating. The campaign includes: 🎙️ A launch film which satirises the world of dating apps, featuring users confessing their fabricated personas through song. 💋 Content creators appearing on high-profile podcasts to discuss dating problems, as well as a one-off episode of TRUST ISSUES in collaboration with Channel 4.0. 👻 A Snapchat filter puts a playful lie detector in the hands of the viewing public. 📻 Radio and on-air teasers, where classic romance language and music is subverted with interruptions from the lie detector, in addition to an OOH campaign ad which sees dating-related cliches dispelled. More details can be found in the press release linked in the comments.

A big congratulations to all the graduates of Channel 4’s New Writers Scheme! Over the last 9 months, twenty new writers have taken part in expert industry training and mentoring from scripted indies and a script editor, building their skills, knowledge and networks. With all writers having now submitted their final spec scripts for feedback from the Channel 4 Drama team, the group gathered together to celebrate their achievements at a graduation event in London last week. Ran by 4Skills, our New Writers Scheme first ran as a pilot in the West and South West of England back in 2022, and has since expanded to work with emerging writers located near Channel 4’s regional hubs: Bristol, Glasgow and Leeds. It aims to nurture underrepresented writing talent, focussing on diverse, regional and authentic voices who have a flair for television drama ✨ .
