A major milestone! 🥂 Our team reached 100+ people and decided to pay it forward by completing 100+ good deeds. We expressed appreciation to our family, friends, team members, and our community.
We launched the summer social initiative for our people to bond with each other, have some fun together, and take a break at work. Our favourite team building games were Among Us, Skribbl.io, and the Jackbox Party Pack. We also learned more about each other's interests and life stories.
Over the weekend, our team went for a refreshing kayaking trip around Rocky Point. We connected with both our teammates and nature while exploring beautiful sceneries. Our CEO also treated us Rocky Point Ice Cream. 100% recommend! What's your favourite way to recharge? 🔋
🥏 Over the weekend, our team got together for a lovely day at Robert Burnaby Park and bonded outside of work. We stepped outside our realm of expertise while we played disc golf for the first time. Everyone had a great time and got to see each other in person after a long time.
We are so lucky to work with talented people from all over the world 🌐. To celebrate our team’s cultural diversity and participate in the Canadian Multiculturalism Day, we shared some of our favourite recipes. 🧑🍳 We appreciate everyone's contributions as we proudly compiled the Binary Stream Cookbook.
We are honoured to share that we were recognized as a part of the Microsoft Business Applications Inner Circle for 2021/2022! 🥂 This comes as the latest in a string of accomplishments that reaffirm the value of our continued dedication to our customers and partners' success.

It's official! Binary Stream is proud to announce that we have been certified as a Great Place to Work® after a thorough, independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute® Canada. This certification is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about their workplace experience. Lak Chahal, our CEO, spoke about what the award means to the team, pointing out that “Team” is one of our core values, making this award all the more meaningful. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our people. We always strive to strengthen our culture and team, and an award that speaks to that work is especially meaningful. We rely on each other to make this such a great place to work.” Nancy Fonseca, Senior Vice President of Great Place to Work® Canada, says that a great workplace is about the level of trust that employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs, and the extent to which they enjoy their colleagues.
We celebrated 20 years of success this February! All of our team members from across Canada joined in our annual Company Day conference held at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre! Everyone shared in learning about our successes for the past year, the goals for 2020 and openly expressed innovative ideas to help us scale for growth. We all beamed with pride as we honoured our employees who met service year mile stones, our MVPs and the employees of the year too! Everyone engaged in friendly team building games and competed for the coveted ‘Marshmallow Cup’ filled with goodies. The winning team of the ‘Marshmallow Cup’ selects a charity for a healthy company donation! The whole team was also treated to a Company Dinner, held at the Victor, a beautiful venue where our team mingled, savoured sumptuous contemporary dishes, won prizes and simply enjoyed the reward of their contributions. It was a great time had by all.
