#Juneteenth National Independence Day is a powerful reminder of the resilience and contributions of Black and African Americans to our collective country, homes, and workplaces. To mark this historic occasion, this past weekend we joined community celebrations around the nation. Our #AMHteam members in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Dallas, Raleigh, and Houston spent time with our respective communities learning, celebrating, reflecting, and connecting. Today, we're continuing the celebrations at home! Thank you to our Black and African American #ERG for hosting a special Juneteenth celebration for our team this afternoon, and to all our employees for contributing to an inclusive, respectful, and positive workplace culture, this and every day.

In a recent interview with WESH 2, NBC, an AMH resident living at our Binion Reserve community in Orlando, FL, shared why she chooses to rent an AMH-built home: “I previously resided in New York and came to Florida for the good weather, more family-oriented environment, fresh air, sun, beaches… I said to myself, 'Next year I'm going to get a house,' and here I am. Being able to provide my family with that same sense of home and togetherness and harmony under one roof, without feeling like we're crammed in a sardine can, is amazing.” As our EVP of Development Brent Landry explains, AMH-built communities “create a lifestyle for folks seeking a single-family option with a low maintenance lifestyle and flexibility of leasing. In Central Florida and really across America, we are short housing in general.
