Pros

-Good PTO -4 weeks parental leave -Decent pay for the area -Some departments maintain flexibility that is beneficial for young families, but this seems to be decreasing over time -Used to promote primarily from within, unsure if this is now the case given that so many are now new -Opportunities for lateral moves to adjacent departments -HDHP and HSA options are good

Cons

-General lack of professionalism: non-existent policies, every manager writes their own rules, job roles change without broader communication so it can be difficult to know who is responsible for maintaining what -Poor training/onboarding: company stopped investing in training their employees after COVID and massive turnover means few people with experience and good training left, the blind leading the blind -Company was people/network driven, due to huge amount of turnover in USA and HQ this has broken and company does not have infrastructure to replace it--lots of lost knowledge and expertise -Unrealistic strategies and expectations and constant management change lead to poor results, low bonuses, and flight of high performers -North America is clearly seen in a negative light by global management -Many areas of the company have little to no paths for advancement within the same department -Many employees both new and old are phoning it in due to low morale, makes it hard to get things done when people outside of your immediate team are involved, and different teams and departments seem to be set against each other rather than working synergistically as they used to
