Pros

This is a great company staffed by dedicated professionals. The Atlanta office is a tight group that is all on the same page. Our customers love our product and we are helping to improve learning in big companies, small companies and in academia. Rare opportunity to be part of something truly game changing.

Cons

Growing pains typical of a startup including the need for changes in leadership that are now in place.

Pros

Great idea for a product. Worked with incredibly bright development team. Tons to learn from an existing (albeit messy) code base. Recent addition of agile process improved planning of tasks.

Cons

Development team size went from 7 to 2 in a matter of months. Leadership team leaves much to be desired. More people have been fired than hired over the course of 4 years. Not enough focus on the learning aspect of application. Toxic team members were tolerated for far too long in the past. Hiring process could be more rigorous.

All, I would like to thank each mLevel employee who has taken the time to write a review on GlassDoor, as your feedback and candor have been invaluable. We are currently in the process of transforming our business, starting at the very top with leadership and a new CEO -- to which I have gladly accepted the challenge. As a part of that change, we are also making a concerted effort to become completely transparent with our employees on what is working and what isn’t, as well as which KPIs matter and which do not. While no company can be perfect, our goal is not only to share this information but to also listen keenly to each employee’s feedback as we experience this transformation, allowing us the best chance for success moving forward. While we cannot change the past, it is my promise as CEO that we will improve our future -- our mission is to have us all moving in the same direction with one common goal. And for anyone reading this response that is interested in being a part an innovative product company and helping others learn better, I encourage you to join us on this journey as it will be an adventure of a lifetime. Pros

I can't think of anything to put here, honestly. Total amateur hour. No leadership. No acceptance of responsibility.

Cons

Think of all of the things you don't like about jobs you've had in the past. I can guarantee you it happens here, too. As mentioned elsewhere, the CEO is passive-aggressive, and is not a leader. The more-recent glowing reviews are written by upper management to stem the tide of bad ratings pouring in from people who have left, not because they were disgruntled, but because the lack of leadership is astounding.
