Pros

Professional team in place so you get to work with competent people. The company offers a very good work / life balance. Managers are accessible and encourage the spirit of initiative from every level in the company. Successful initiatives are rewarded while the failing ones do not lead to sanctions.

Cons

Since they are one of the smaller players in the market sometimes we must get more creative in finding solutions that could otherwise be solved with specialized tools /software.

Pros

It's all about the people. The office feels like a family and my colleagues are pleasant. No big egos, no drama. There's free food, snacks, a cool massage chair and fun group activities. I like the fact that the company respects work/life balance. Managers also invest in training and developing employees. There's a fair shot at career growth within the company, as high performers are rewarded with promotions.

Cons

As a smaller company, there are times when you wish the resources of a big company were available.

Good company to work for with a good work-life balance and a nice team

Pros

The work life balance is really good and they understand the particulars of family life. You won't be asked to work late (unless some rare urgency pops up) and presenteeism is discouraged. The Managing Director's door is always open and the management team in general are very approachable. You can have a lot of say on the scope of your work there. If you're interested in doing something, they'll encourage you.

Cons

If you need to work from home because your kid is sick or a plumber is coming over, they're fine with it, but there is no official work from home policy. That wasn't an issue for me, but it may be for others.
