Pros

The people day-to-day in the work care about the work. Interesting projects and a variety of clients (industry, size, etc).

Cons

They struggle with core business operations like defining management structures, training, career paths, project management, time management/resourcing. They have "restructured" multiple times in the last year and have had about 4-5 rounds of layoffs in the past ~3 years, marking a lack of direction for the company. They have not met the company-wide bonus targets since at least 2018, so base salary is really the only salary.

Pros

Great people (trying) to do the work. Office design is kinda cool.

Cons

No consistent vision for the company — jack of all trades, master of none. Branding, marketing, experience, websites, advertising, business consulting, sustainability, DEI or ESG strategy. If it’s a hot buzzword, you can safely bet that Hyperquake will be willing to take a stab at it. The problem is, they don’t actually know how to do half of what they promise. Most of the real work is done by subcontractors. Employees are often confused and overwhelmed. Sr. Mgmt hide their incompetence behind aggression (passive and direct), jargon, rah-rah events and speeches. They’re like the idiot child of McKinsey and IDEO. No career growth. Mostly because they restructure every 2 years (or everyone quits), so you won’t be there long enough to progress.
