I have been working at bpost full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - can-do mentality - also active in e-commerce, growing business with massive potential - smart people that are ambitious and are used to change and transformation - strong leadership in the different business units - C-level people are accessible - if you have a great idea, and the guts to ask a mandate from the leadership team, , you often receive support to go for it #entrepreneurialspirit - open for innovation and it's ok to try new things (and even fail) - diversity - a young bpost community (great events)

    Cons

    - there's not 1 bpost, it's a group of companies which are in a different maturity stage, this implicates different cultures and levels of speed. - 34,000 employees worldwide can make it sometimes hard to find your way

I have been working at bpost full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great atmosphere among colleagues - Good working hours - Many challenges and opportunities to prove yourself, good horizontal moving opportunities - 51% government owned, i.e. less market driven thinking

    Cons

    - Senior management likes strategy consultants (= you are often ignored & have less impact) - Limited transparency to lower and mid-level managers - Company is not doing very well - Even though 51% is government, management thinks mostly of the dividend

    Pros

Many trainings for Young Talents as well as opportunities in a competitive environment. There are many challenges so you wont get bored. Many nice colleagues.

    Cons

Innovativity is not always possible in a former state owned company. DirCom is 100% male.

I worked at bpost full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

great colleagues to work with. Bpost is a big company so it is not always evident to move forward smoothly, but ICT within bpost is working on a "private" manner. Cool.

    Cons

Bpost is a huge company in Belgium with a governmental history. Due to all ancient rules and "laws", procedures are most of the time too slow.

    No Opinion of CEO

    I worked at bpost

    Pros

The company has manu assets to count on and qualified people walk around the corridors. It offers good salary package.

    Cons

Profile of skilled people in the decision tower at la Monnaie is far from the field. The company'strategy is defined by operations, not by clients. It sit on a large amount of cash, despite allows little or does not encourrage new ideas. It follows the market instead of driving it. The price policicy is "me too" and is frustrating for sales. At last its a top down hierarchy corporate, so much last century :-(
